A nature-inspired, detached house located directly on the lakeshore. It has two focal points: one outside, which is the lake, and one inside, which is a spacious atrium of 30 m2.

The communal spaces and guest spaces are mainly visually connected to the „wow” element of the exterior, while the intimate spaces are mainly turned inwards to the atrium.

The building is firmly closed in the direction of the neighbours, allowing for an undisturbed living space for the residents. The dual focus brings two qualities; openness and introversion. The layout and sculptural massing of the building follows the design principles and client requirements easily and naturally.

Architecture and interior design play with ceiling heights, use of materials, and varied spaces, bringing out the rich potential for connection with nature, with each other, and with ourselves in every detail.
