PG Villa
The nearly 1700 m2 sloping plot has a beautiful panoramic view. The panoramic view and the nature reserve surrounding the plot were the key factors in the installation. The developer’s vision was to create an exclusive 4-storey high-rise residential building with a clean architectural design, which is energy-efficient and comfortable to live in, fit for current times.
In the design, the private spaces on the ground floor and the communal living spaces were separated by a walkway core, so that the resulting living and bedroom spaces could each be complemented by a different type of spacious or intimate garden. A central staircase connects and accesses all levels and functions of the house. For level access, a passenger lift will be incorporated in addition to the three-arm staircase.
The various living and recreation areas are designed with private gardens or terrace space. Next to the building, an outdoor storage area is located on the living level, where the mechanical outdoor units have been placed.
The backyard is accessed via landscape stairs designed by a landscape architect. The materials used for the building are natural colours in keeping with the streetscape.
The façades are finished with cementitious Kerlite cladding and white render for a restrained, yet modern and elegant exterior design.
The natural lighting of the interiors is provided by large windows and skylights, as well as airways.
